Joe is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer from the Twin Cities. Most of the work he creates is used with mixed media and can ultimately vary depending on the feeling or purpose of the project. His work is influenced from childhood experiences and everyday life. Growing up around racing motocross and exploring the outdoors makes for an interesting theme to express in his work. Joe mixes his ideas using parts of realism with a combination of surrealism and abstract environments to create illustrations. He strongly believes in having multiple skill sets as an artist, to eliminate the title of being known as a “one trick pony”. Variance and diversity in his artwork opens doors for more opportunities and recognition, resulting in finding new ways to experiment and make a stronger meaning in his art.
